The Croissant Bag Is Set To Become 2020′s Biggest Accessories Trend

We don't know about you but we made it one of our New Year's Resolutions to stop spending all of our dosh on that afternoon coffee (or two) in a bid to keep our pennies pristine.

But we may have to rewrite the rulebook already, as we've just stumbled across the accessory that would go perfectly with a piping hot cuppa. Enter: the croissant bag.

So good you could almost eat it, the must-have has left us craving a shopping trip with Bottega Veneta already leading us astray this season.

Just when we thought Daniel Lee couldn't top the cult pouch bag wedged beneath the arm of every buzzy name at Fashion Week, the creative director looks set to take over an Instagram feed near you once again.

The street style staple has evolved into a shoulder bag for 2020 with buttery folds and pleats reminiscent of the famous Parisian pastry.

As per every item he introduces to the fashion market, self-confessed fan girl, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, is already a proud owner of the Shoulder Pouch.

In fact, the British model took to Instagram to show that her new go-to accessory has even earned a seat at hers.

It's a similar story over at Pernille Teisbaek's humble abode too, with the cream edition already part of the fixtures.

Available in a handful of delightful colourways from Moutarde to Plaster, the Shoulder Bag retails from $2,800 and is sure to fly from shelves.

In keeping with the traditional fashion domino effect, other mega brands are championing the trend this season too with the likes of Staud following suit.

Home to the industry-famous Bissett bag, Staud recently welcomed a new baby to its fashionable brood.

May we introduce you to the soft leather Moon Bag - a pleated take on its iconic shape which took to the front row last year.

Available to pre-order now, the sweet treat will set you back $585 - but is sure to last a good few runs to the coffee shop and back.
